Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Human Resources candidate to join the Warped Wing Team. This position will perform a variety of compliance, general employee management and overall HR related tasks. The position responsibilities include processing bi-weekly payroll, employee onboarding support, benefit management and periodic staff communications. You will run payroll software and manage the overall payroll process across multiple business units. A successful HR candidate should be familiar with all payroll related processes and have a strong commitment to high quality work and attention to detail. Ultimately, this role will lead all Human Resource related efforts for the brewery.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process companywide bi-weekly payroll via payroll processor Paychex or another third-party payroll processor
  • Manage 401K and employee health benefits programs
  • Provide staffing assistance to hiring managers
  • Manage monthly employee gift card benefit
  • Prepare periodic staff communications and training
  • Support orientations and onboarding of new personnel
  • Process employee expense and mileage reimbursements
  • Support executive management team in engagement with management staff
  • Preparation for annual tax filings for state and federal filings
  • Communicate and enforce administrative policies
  • Assist with the company’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations
  • Maintain and manage all personnel documents and files
  • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution
  • Facilitate incident and injury reports – and collaborate with outside supporting firms (WeVow, Sedgwick, OBWC)
  • Ensure all company policies are applied consistently
  • Serve as administrator for multiple applications
  • Maintain/update company organization charts and employee handbook
  • Increase employee morale and engagement with incentive programs and recognition efforts
  • Develop and increase usage of employee review programs (annual reviews, PIP, coaching opportunities, performance reviews, merit reviews and of year [employment term] reviews
  • Additional duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills and experience with office management and communication software
  • Proven experience with Paychex or other third-party payroll processing companies
  • Familiarity with restaurant focused payroll practices
  • Strong computer skills and experience with office management and communication software
  • Excellent leadership, training and developmental skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Expert in labor laws set by governing authorities and organizations
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Past experience in restaurant, retail business, or brewery is a plus
